Our tour begins at 10:00 am from Tbilisi, heading towards Ananuri and Kazbegi to showcase the stunning landscapes of Georgia. We’ll travel from the capital to the snow-capped Mount Kazbek, uncovering the charm of this region along the way. Our first stop is the historic Ananuri complex, perched by the serene Jinvali Lake, where you’ll see churches and towers from the 16th and 17th centuries, once the residence of the Argveti Dukes. The route continues along the Georgian Military Highway, winding north toward the Russian border.
Next, we’ll visit the meeting point of two mountain rivers, where their distinct colors remain visible even as they merge. Crossing the famous Cross Pass, we’ll pause at the “People’s Friendship” viewpoint, a Soviet-era monument offering sweeping views of the Caucasus gorge. The journey reaches its highest point at 2,395 meters, where you can admire yellow travertine formations and taste fresh mineral water. We’ll then ascend to Gergeti’s Holy Trinity Church, a 14th-century gem, with incredible views of the village Stepantsminda and the imposing 5,033-meter Mount Kazbek glacier—breathtaking on a clear day. This adventure will capture the essence and beauty of the Caucasus Mountains.
