The driver will pick you up at 10:00 AM to begin the journey toward the Kakheti region, known as the heart of Georgian winemaking. The first destination is the Bodbe Monastery, which, according to legend, is the burial place of St. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Since 1889, the complex has functioned as a convent by decree of Tsar Alexander III of Russia. We’ll then head to Sighnaghi, the romantic Royal Town, historically positioned at a key point on the Great Silk Road and encircled by defensive walls with 23 towers. Next, we'll visit the unique Khareba wine cellar, housed within a rock-carved tunnel originally constructed for military defense. Today, it stores Khareba’s premium wines, where you'll enjoy a wine tour and tasting.
